It’s not all arches at Arches National Park

We stopped off at Arches National Park today as we slowly wend our way back to San Diego.

We only had 2 hours so we went to the Windows Trail. The arches were indeed stunning…but so was the rest of the hike.

We took the moderately strenuous loop trail — which was made increasingly dynamic with the addition of mud, freezing mud and ice. The views of rock formations, distant canyons and the La Sal Mountains just amazed at every turn.

If you have never visited this jewel of a park, I highly recommend even just a quick drive-through. I can’t wait to return!
